It's FINALLY clean!!!

This was a cleaning project that took on a life of it's own. My scrap den had gotten to be such a mess I no longer knew what I had or where it was. This project started innocently enough. Buy some new clear storage containers so I can see what's in 'em, right? haha...

That means you have to think about how it is you want to organize things. I used to have everything by item type... all my stickers in one place, all my embellishments together somewhere else. Trouble was, as I worked, I didn't remember where I had things. This time, I opted to put things together by project or subject. All the items that I would use for a travel project are in one box. All the paper, stickers, embellishments, etc. Baby theme, love theme, friends, girl, Christmas, other holidays etc... All my stamps are in the clear boxes until I can talk my DH into making me a wall shelf for them. Simple project really, just need to find the time in between all the others.

I am a total metal letter junky! I have finally figured out a way to organize them. A spice rack did the trick. Only trouble is, I thought for sure a 16 would be plenty... OMG... I guess I have a larger problem than I thought! hehe... It is the coolest way to organize them though. All my pics that are ready (and I feel motivated to scrap) are organized in the albums behind the letter spice rack. They are stacked 3 high. Each box of 6 holds 1000 pictures!! Can you believe it!!!

I also have found the most fabulous storage solution for fibers. These really nifty stacking spice jars worked perfectly. The fibers come out through the holes on top.

As I was cleaning, I started a box for Angela. Things I won't use, things I had lots of extras of. Well, this box got to be rather large and rather heavy. Angela is going to think it's Christmas when it arrives!! It's off in the mail tomorrow girl!

Well, wish me luck, I'm off to scrap. Now if I can only keep it looking like this!!!!!
