5 days and counting

Have I mentioned, 5 more days until school starts?? The boys have had such a great time this summer. Camp days, mondays at our house, dad's pitching in to help on days where we needed the extra help. Waterpark adventures and tag with the big kids at the park. They have become very close kids. They play like friends, bicker like brothers and love "not in a love kind of way but in a friend way"...

They have worked hard at helping to get the school packed and moved, scrubbed desks, unpacked boxes, helped Pastor at the church... I think they learned some valuable lessons about charity and giving.

But most of all... they have grown up a little. At the beginning of the summer they were two boys who had just completed 1st grade. Now, they are ready to take 2nd grade on with a level head on their shoulders and a scense of pride and accomplisment in all they have done this summer.

And above all else... mom will get her "Laura Sundays" and Fridays back to herself to get caught up in some well needed rest and quiet and SCRAPPING!!!!
