Diaper Cake

My godparent's son was married 2 years ago and they are expecting their first child this summer. As many young couples do, they have opted to NOT find out what the sex of their child is. What fun... however... making a themed "cake" was problematic. Fortunately, Easter is everywhere and the colors lend themselves to both. This cake is made of 132 Pampers swaddler's 8-14lb diapers, a bottle with easter color chocolate kisses and two little "my blankees" to keep baby warm in their carrier and out and about. We are not able to attend the shower but my dad is kind enough to take care of the delivery for me. I love making these but I must say... I could have used 2 more hands to put it together!!!
