PROGRESS

It's been a long haul since I last posted. Illness, construction, work, etc... life seems to have taken over for a bit. Now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Well, for this outdoor project that is. The slabs are officially in and have made such a huge difference in the yard. We are set for delivery of the spas in the next week or two, delayed from the originally scheduled tuesday arrival. It's ok. After all this time, I think we can handle waiting a few more weeks, yes? Fencing so the world doesn't see us as they go by is next on the agenda. Then landscaping. We have patio furniture and a fire pit waiting to be delivered once we get the patio tent up. I have been working on designing the back pad decor for the hot tub area. Twinkle lights and sheet outdoor drapes are already in the works but I still have to come up with plans, a bench and other "stuff" to make it the retreat I envision. DH has been such a trooper through this whole process. We spent this afternoon with our contractor, his wife and son, and us out on the patio chistling out the concrete that had flowed between the two colors. It was 3 hours of pain staking work but it looks fabulous! I'll be in the swim spa swimming away in no time!!!
