Proud Parent Moment

I am so proud of my son. Last night was Kindergarten Graduation and Awards night at his school. This was the first year for his school so it was a big night for everyone after seeing through the first school year. All children in the school (27 of them) K-3 receive two awards, the Christian Character award and an Academic award. G's awards were for Kindness and academic excellence in Bible, reading, spelling and math (she couldn't pick just one). They also give out two student awards for each grade to the two top students and G won that as well for his class. The Principal also gives two trophy awards out to the two students in the school she feels most exemplifies Christian Character, academic achievement and is an all around good child and a friend to all and my little Mr G won! I was soooooo proud of him up on that stage. It's always nice to hear that the good child you have at home is also that way in the presence of others.
