CCS remodel continues

The work at school continues. The former administrator sent out an email to the parents of the school updating them on our progress and stating that we could really use some help. I decided some pictures of the latest work would help with that gilt factor. The carpet had to come out this last day of work. Unfortunately, it was glued down on top of a layer of vinyl which was glued to a layer of tile! The big boys had to pry the carpet off with sheer force and then the two boys, Brandi and myself were left to chistle the vinyl tile. It has all been slow going tiring work and it doesn't appear that much progress has been made at the end of the day but we are getting closer. The new office wall should be framed in the next week or two, then drywall and then texture, paint and carpets. Two days a week is really starting to wear on us all. Especially without help. We did have a local contractor stop by one evening because he recongnized Ben's car wanting to see what we were up to. He has come back once to help. These next few weeks are going to be crazy in this household. In addition to the normal work, karate, remodeling the school, and life... we also have my sis-in-law and nephew coming to stay with us for a bit before she and her husband move to Germany for 3 years. Holiday festivities and out of town business will keep is busy no doubt. Our anniversary is at the end of July (I can't believe it is officially July!!!) so we hope to get out of town for a few days then to relax. But until then... it's time to get back to work!!! Here's some more pics of the work from Thursday at the school.
