Something new

I have taught myself a new skill. It seems handmade jewelry is everywhere these days. Those of you who know me also know that I don't own a piece of jewelry like any other... unique pieces to say the least. So, I decided I'd try my hand at making my own. This bracelet is actually for my friend, a cancer awareness bracelet in colon cancer colors. It is so hard to know what to do or say when your friend has cancer. Especially when it was thought to have been gone and is now back with a vengence. I am in the process of making something on a smaller scaler for her girls but this one is done in time for her birthday. Lots of little glass beads. I love how it came out... maybe this will be my new obsession... Cancer awareness jewelry... who knows. At this point, anything else but my current job would do! TFL!
